The Fine Print
Rental Terms
The short version: you bring the drinks, we provide the machine, and everyone has a good time. The details are below.
⚡ One non-negotiable: give it a real outlet.
The machine pulls serious power to freeze your drinks. Plug it straight into a dedicated wall outlet within 6 feet — no extension cords, no power strips, no “it’ll probably be fine.” A shared circuit can trip the breaker or hurt the motor, and a warm margarita is nobody’s idea of a party.
1 · Equipment rental only
We rent the machine — that's it. We don't sell, serve, or provide alcohol. You bring the mix and any alcohol, make sure guests are 21+, and keep an eye on everyone the way a good host does.
2 · You're the keeper while it's yours
The machine is your responsibility from the moment you pick it up (or we drop it off) until it's back with us. Keep it out of the weather, and feed it only smooth, strained mixes with a little sugar — no chunky pulp, seeds, or ice, which can clog or damage it.
3 · Give it a quick rinse
Run a warm-water rinse after your event (we handle the real deep clean). Sugar sets like cement, so a machine that comes back un-rinsed picks up a $50 cleaning fee.
4 · The temporary hold
We place a refundable $100 hold at booking and release it the moment the machine comes home in good shape. It's a hold, not a charge — nothing actually leaves your account unless something goes sideways.
5 · Damage & replacement
Normal party wear is expected and never an issue. Damage beyond that is billed at repair cost; a machine that's lost, stolen, or not returned is billed at replacement cost (up to about $400).
6 · Cancellation
Plans change — give us at least 48 hours and you owe nothing. Inside 48 hours, a 50% fee applies, and no-shows are charged in full. Weather calling it off (hail, a storm) gets rescheduled free whenever we can.
7 · Good-time clause (assumption of risk)
By renting, you take on the risk of injury, property damage, or anything alcohol-related at your event, and agree to hold Denver Slush Club harmless from claims by your guests or others.
